Spamalot at the Bowl
This weekend we went to one of my favorite places in Los Angeles, the Hollywood Bowl. Each year, they do a musical for only 3 performances and get a star-studded cast for the leads. This year we saw “Spamalot” with special guest narrator, Eric Idle, member of Monty Python and creator of “Spamalot.” The show started at 8pm. We arrived at 3pm with a large picnic and tons of booze. We grabbed a great picnic table and hung out for 4 hours, eating and drinking and listening to showtunes and playing “Cards Against Humanity.” Our group was 6 in total. The weather was absolutely perfect. The show was a lot of fun and my sides hurt from so much laughing. It’s silly and I recommend it, especially for fans of Monty Python and absurdity.
