January 2018 in Review
Alright folx, it’s time to keep me honest about how I’m doing with my 2018 goals. If you don’t remember what they are (and why should you), you can check out my posts on individual goals as well as our couple goals.
I aimed to post on a combination of this blog and suziandcole.com 10 times per month. I got close, but did not reach this goal.
I’m totally on track with my social calendar for the quarter as well as my Book Riot posts per quarter.
We’re supposed to be listening to 3 records a week. Eh, doing okay at it.
We didn’t visit our storage AT ALL in January. FAIL.
I am rocking the snail mail!
We tried two new restaurants this month!
Which is actually shitty for the amount of times we didn’t cook at home. We’re doing pretty well on eating meatless meals, though! Not perfect, but pretty good.
I’m doing okay at getting my 10K steps 5x a week and 11K steps at least two of those times. There’s definitely room for improvement.
I think my biggest surprise this month has been that I have been getting out of bed early (about an hour and a half earlier than I had been all last year. And the year before that. And the years before that) and writing morning pages!
For social media, here are my current numbers/goal numbers:
- Twitter: 783/850 followers
- Instagram: 335/400 followers
- Litsy: 1027/1200 Litfluence (this is increasing more quickly than I anticipated)
For my weight goals: I’ve lost zero lbs. I’ve gained zero lbs. I am not even trying with this goal right now.
For reading: I have read 4 books this year. My goal is 50.
For ukulele: Haven’t picked it up at all.
Something that has not been tracked is that I have done some writing outside of blogging and Book Riot and I’m trying to pitch pieces to different places. I definitely could have made my blogging goal if I wasn’t spending time on other writing, so I’m not sad about that.
